I’m not dead – not yet, that is :)

Just neck deep in work of different kinds. Work at work, work at home.

Plus there’s no internet connection at home now, I got Tata Indicom to take their equipment back. I have no idea who my next ISP is going to be, that’ll have to be sorted out soon.

I also need to work on that blessed proof that every finite field has a prime characteristic – thanks to guppy for his/her insightful comment, but, bloody hell, I haven’t found the time to work on the wretched thing yet. This is so frustrating.

Shencottah’s in town, his workplace is within five kilometres of mine, and we haven’t met yet. Thiru works in the building across mine, hardly 500 m away, and I haven’t met him in a year and a half. Argh.

Ah, things should be better a couple of weeks down the line. Or maybe a couple of months down the line. Let’s see how that works out.

Today, I

* Learned to set up a bridge in linux
* Successfully installed DragonFly under kqemu – I finally have a development environment, yay!

I’ts not yet 10 AM, and I’ve already learned something new. Ha haha ha. Ha haha ha. Haha.[1]

[1] If you don’t recognize that laugh, shame on you – it’s Mandark’s signature. Interestingly, this is how I remember it from almost a decade ago – Wikipedia, however says that the laugh follows a different pattern.
